The graphic qualities of these still life pieces make a joyful ‘window’ onto a sun filled table top.
They are expressive – not illusions of reality but gorgeous shapes and passages of paint that I am exploring again in a new series of Alla Prima oils. But this is acrylic, tough vibrant colour at it most luminous. The simple, hockey stick pine frame and wide mount gives a happy place on the wall.
