Japanese Anemone - large

Here is the large composition of an autumn anemone.  I had made a small study which evolves into a large and dramatic painting.  Some things are simplified and some explored, adding large brush strokes which give a astonishing impact.  The flower itself takes on a strong three dimensional impact.

Notice the small study on the previous page. I hang both large and small works on my studio wall. Single . . . . . separate . . . . together . . . .  anything is possible. Look at all the different pinks from pale to deep violet! I like Pink.
