A Pink Peony

I have to confess this was a white peony and it became pink as I ‘just wanted to paint a pink peony’. Well I think that’s a good reason as it is much admired. The astonishing sculptural petals are so exciting with the little ball of a bud nestling underneath. As yet unframed so you can have fun choosing what works for you.
