This ‘chopped off’ composition is rather lively. It almost feels as if the flowers are falling into the painting. And the colour of the shadows! Oh, that glorious deep burnt magenta colour offset against orange petals is sumptuous. The frame was an indulgence on my part - rather expensive but once you see it you will understand. Its a really lovely little work.
