Iris

Graphite on Cream Paper Framed 35 x 29cm

£350

Right at the end of the iris season I took action. Wait another week and it will be too late to draw them. And once again, notice how a monochrome drawing can bring out the three dimensional expression of a subject. Its botanical complexity is fascinating and the subtle curve of the stem gives life to the upward thrust of the opening flower.
